Loader Pre-Setup & Injection

Required Downloads

Make sure Rust is closed before running the loader.
Uninstall or completely disable any third-party antivirus software.
Disable Windows Defender real-time protection.
Close or uninstall active anti-cheat services such as Riot Vanguard, FACEIT, or ESEA.
Download and extract Visual-C-Runtimes.zip.
Right-click install_all.bat and select Run as administrator.
Download and install the Microsoft DirectX Runtime.
Open the Disconnect Loader Website, enter your license key, and wait for your custom loader build to download.

Important

Launch the loader only once per Windows session. Opening it multiple times can invalidate the session and prevent injection.

Open the downloaded loader application.
Log in with your existing account. If you do not have an account, create one using your license key.
Open the Products page inside the loader.
Select Disconnect — Rust External.
Click Inject.
Wait for the injection to complete before launching or returning to Rust.

Note

If injection fails, log out of the loader, log back in, and try once more before following the troubleshooting cards below.
