Troubleshooting

The Windows system disk must use GPT and the BIOS must use UEFI mode.

Convert the disk containing Windows to GPT using the mbr2gpt tool built into Windows or another disk-management utility, then switch the BIOS from Legacy mode to UEFI mode.
