Troubleshooting

1. Open Command Prompt as Administrator.

2. Run the following command:

wmic diskdrive get Caption, SerialNumber

1. Then run:

wmic baseboard get SerialNumber

1. Check whether both commands return the expected hardware information.

If either command fails with an error, the supplied resolution is to reinstall Windows and check whether the issue is resolved afterward.
