Prepare Your System

Check the requirements and prepare Windows and BIOS before installing Disconnect.

  1. Confirm that your system meets the Disconnect system requirements.

  2. Make sure no external antivirus software is running.

  3. Uninstall Riot Vanguard and any FACEIT/ESEA anti-cheat services before continuing. For Riot Vanguard, follow the Riot Vanguard uninstall instructions. See also Remove Conflicting Software.

  4. Download and install WinRAR. You will use it to extract the loader and other downloaded archives.

  5. Disable Secure Boot in BIOS. See Check and Disable Secure Boot.

  6. If you are using the built-in spoofer, disable TPM.

  7. If your system uses an AMD CPU, make sure Hyper-V is disabled.

  8. Make sure SVM on AMD systems or VT-x on Intel systems is enabled in BIOS.

Warning

This preparation includes disabling or removing security-related software and changing BIOS or Windows security settings. Disabling antivirus protection, Secure Boot, TPM, or related protections can reduce system security or affect Windows security features. Make sure you understand these changes before continuing.
