Configure a Supported Overlay

Exodus requires a supported overlay. Use Medal or Discord.

The game must always run in Borderless or Windowed display mode. Fullscreen Exclusive is not supported.

Option 1 — Medal

1. Download Medal.

2. Install Medal.

3. Run Medal as Administrator.

4. Continue with the Exodus injection process.

For better in-game FPS, open Clip Settings and disable Capture Clips.

Option 2 — Discord

1. Download Discord.

2. Install Discord.

3. Run Discord as Administrator.

4. Open Discord settings and go to Game Overlay.

5. Enable Enable Overlay.

6. Keep Enable Legacy Overlay disabled as shown in the supplied setup.

If Discord displays No suitable overlay, open the game's overlay settings and enable the per-game overlay option as shown in the supplied screenshot.

The game must remain in Borderless or Windowed mode.
