Troubleshooting

1. Close Rust and the loader.

2. Restart your computer.

3. Open Medal as an administrator.

4. Disable Medal’s overlay in its settings, as specified by the supplier for this error. Keep the Medal app running.

5. Follow our Discord Overlay Setup guide.

6. Enable Discord’s overlay for Rust and keep Legacy Overlay disabled.

7. Open Rust and check that the Discord overlay appears in-game.

8. Repeat the product’s launch process.

9. Once Rust is at the main menu and the loader is ready, focus the game and press F2.
