Disable Windows Defender

Disable Windows Defender before running Disconnect.

The supplied instructions recommend using Defender Control instead of disabling Windows Defender manually.

  1. Download dControl.

  2. Unzip Defender Control.zip.

  3. If the archive requests a password, enter sordum.

  4. Open dControl.exe.

  5. Click Disable Windows Defender.

Warning

Disabling Windows Defender reduces the security protection available on the system.
