Synthera DocsSome products use SteelSeries Sonar to initialize their overlay. This guide explains how to enable Sonar and configure the shortcut required by the loader.
Install SteelSeries GG
Download SteelSeries GG from the official SteelSeries website:
Open the downloaded installer.
Follow the on-screen instructions to install SteelSeries GG.
Open the application.
Sign In to SteelSeries GG
Create a SteelSeries account or sign in to an existing account.
Complete the initial application setup.
Enable SteelSeries Sonar
Open the Sonar tab in SteelSeries GG.
If this is your first time using Sonar, configure the requested input and output devices.
Confirm that Sonar is enabled and its main mixer is displayed.
Configure the Sonar Shortcut
Open Shortcuts under the Sonar section.
Select Master.
Locate Master – Volume Up.
Assign an available key, such as F12.
Note
The key assigned to Master – Volume Up is your Sonar Shortcut Key. Remember which key you selected because you must press it before clicking Load in the product loader.
Initialize the SteelSeries Sonar Overlay
Keep SteelSeries GG open and make sure Sonar is enabled.
Open the product loader.
Press your configured Sonar Shortcut Key once.
Click Load in the loader.
Important
Press the Sonar Shortcut Key before clicking Load. SteelSeries GG and Sonar must remain running while the product is being initialized.
